It is a shame to lose him. I hope he's in a better place now.

That's certainly sudden. I didn't even know there was anything wrong with him.

Iwata certainly was one of a kind when it came to video game CEO's. Industry leaders with an actual history in anf and passion for gaming are surprisingy rare in the video game industry. I also wouldn't be able to point at any other who would willingly take a paycutt when the company isn't doing to well rather then fire people.

I also found it very respectable how he tried to stay in touch with his audience through the Nintendo directs, even doing so in a languese clearly not his own.

He was in bad health the past few years, that's why he hasn't been at E3. Thoughts & Prayers to his family.
