I wanted to share with you guys this awesome commission I recently got from the supremely talented Michael Powell (http://michaelpowellart.deviantart.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://www.michaelpowellart.blogspot.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) starring Plastic Man's girlfriend Penny (from his '79-'81 cartoon) kidnapped and bound & gagged by Ghostfinger, one of the villains from the series.
Why Penny you ask? Well, because we all need a little blondeage sometimes.

WOW. Fabulous commission. It legit looks like something you'd see in an old illustration book.

I know right! That's exactly how I feel about Michael Powell's colored pieces and what I love about them. Since Michael does everything by hand and not digitally, it gives his pieces a nice old-fashioned feel. They really do look like the kind of illustrations you might see in a kid's book from days gone by and it gives them a nice nostalgic feel.Suicide wrote:WOW. Fabulous commission. Hey guys, I've updated my first post in this topic. I asked Michael Powell's permission to try digitally adding some story text to this Penny pic, and I've created a variant version for those who like a little description to go with their DiD-viewing.
