There are a variety of ways a damsel/guy in distress is bound. Some examples include hands tied behind the back, arms tied side to side, hands tied in front of the chest, chairtie, suspension, crucifix/table/bed tie, e.t.c.
Personally, I really like it when the damsel/guy in distress has his/her hands tied in front of the chest. I also enjoy suspension bondage (by the hands or feet is also nice). So, what type of bondage do you guys like?

Mummification, mummification, and more mummification.
I also like it when the arms are bound to the torso in general. That is the most literal way I can describe it.
In between mummification and arms bound to the torso, I like straitjackets.

Regular tie ups are fine, for me it's mostly the heroine/group who determines it. If it's a random group of bystanders then Meh.
If for example it's a group of adventures who fall into a trap and get tied up/gagged and thrown in a cell that's fine by me, even if it's CID involved as long as the focus is on the damsel at one point

I like relatively simple ropework where you can see how it all works and not too thick.
