Two Reasons.

1. Uncle Grandpa's nature makes this crossover actually kinda work.

2, Because the higher up at Cartoon Network said so.

The only CN crossover that worked was the Grim Adventures of The Kids Next Door, cause they broke the fourth wall and had Ed, Edd, and Eddy in a cameo.
