In this new addition to the Monster Hunter franchise, the first giant spider has been added to the series, and it does not dissapoint us DID lovers. Using all sorts of tricks with it's webbing from swinging from the ceiling of caves to pulling it's along the ground, this thing knows how to use it's webbing in a fight, and that includes to subdue it's prey. It can shoot blobs of silk that, when hitting a hunter or if a hunter steps on them, will cause him/her to get cocooned and have to struggle to break free.

Here's a clip of it's intro in the single player campaign, which demonstrates this ability perfectly (hope you don't mind girls in heavy armor, the series has the more revealing stuff if you prefer)
