Legendary TV is developing a remake of the 1965 sci-fi series Lost in Space, Deadline reports.
Dracula Untold writers Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless will pen the adaptation and executive-produce alongside Kevin Burns, who holds the rights to the original.
Lost in Space, which aired on CBS for three seasons, was set 30 years in the future (1997) and followed a family's journey to another planet in attempts to colonize deep space. But when a secret agent sabotages the mission, the ship veers off course and gets lost in outer space...
...Lost in Space joins the list of recently announced reboots and adaptations including Twin Peaks, Say Anything (which was quickly axed) and Uncle Buck.

I'm excited at the prospect of a "Twin Peaks" remake, a "Lost in Space" remake also sounds pretty cool too.
Can't be worse than some of the other shiz TV tries to pass off as watchable.

Depends on which "Lost In Space" they're remaking: the serious first season or the comic opera second and third. If it's the latter, I'll pass. Ohhh, the pain.

Is it sad that I know more from the movie that had Joey from Friends in it than I do from the TV show it was based off of?Depends on which "Lost In Space" they're remaking: the serious first season or the comic opera second and third. If it's the latter, I'll pass. Ohhh, the pain.

Re: Lost In Space Reboot
Why would anybody want to watch a "Twin Peaks" remake???? It's the product of David Lynch's warped mind and if he is not directing it it will be "Twin Peaks" in name only.

From what I've read David Lynch should be returning to it, and hopefully Kyle Machlachlan. As someone with a warped mind of their own I can appreciate delving into Lynchian madness from time to time. xDWhy would anybody want to watch a "Twin Peaks" remake???? Besides, I've never laughed so hard whilst simultaneously being severely puzzled in a while. That show is indeed VERY bizarre.

XD well it sounds more like a continuation than a reboot. Either way having Lynch on board is a different story.SnidelyOne wrote:From what I've read David Lynch should be returning to it, and hopefully Kyle Machlachlan.
