Archie Meets Predator Announced at NYCC

This was announced at the Retailer Appreciation Breakfast Panel at NY Comic Con:


Regarding the popularity of Aliens and Predator will lead to a re-packaging of a Mike Mignola story. They made a special announcement for AVP, working with Archie Comics for Archie Meets Predator. Alex de Campi will be writing, Fernando Ruiz on art, and a special variant cover series with Francesco Francavilla and Eric Powell.

Wait, I thought Archie was already dead...Anyway, how does this make you feel?

Call of duty meets Predator meets Archie meets Punisher meets Spider-man meets Megaman meets Mario.

1) Archie died in the Life With Archie universe, not the current one here.

2) Wasn't there suppose to be a sequel to the Archie Meets KISS crossover years ago?

3) Don't look for any blood and death with Archie around like the Punisher crossover.

4) don't forget Archie crossed over with TMNT, Gen 13, and The Simpsons.

Will Archie travel to Yautja Prime and help the clans fight off xenomorphs and super black yautja? Stupid or not this crossover could easily be given the MCU level of lore detail.

Officially? Because Simpsons has had gag cameos. I do count times it crossed over with other franchises with gag cameos such as Futurama and Family guy.

Speaking of which, is the Johnny Bravo Scooby Doo crossover official?

Yes, Johnny Bravo did crossover with Scooby-Doo in that one episode. I almost forgot about the Archie/Glee crossover one.

Given how desperate Archie Comics is to boost their sales, I'm not surprised. Someone (I don't remember who) recently said that the only titles Archie Comics makes a profit on are Sonic and the reprint digests. You can tell as much by all of the stunt storylines and crossovers they've done recently.
