Just watched the scene and the one without glasses is 100% a woman, you can hear that by the muffles the voice actress does.
As for the scene, a bit dark but it thankfully cuts out before any gore happens (at least in the downloadable edit). Plus, a cute shot of the purple-haired girl's chained hands.
