Well, at least they're working on getting a director...


After a long search, Sony is zeroing in on a director for Ghostbusters 3, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Paul Feig, director of Bridesmaids and The Heat, has emerged as the frontrunner, according to sources, and Feig has shown interest in taking on the project. Sources caution that no formal negotiations have taken place and a lot must be worked out before the casual discussions turn serious and Feig accepts the job. But he is the studio's first choice, these sources said. Sony declined to comment.


I suppose it's good that they're trying to push forward after Ramis passed on, though without him the team won't really feel the same...


Sources say the film will be a reboot focusing on female Ghostbusters.

don't know about that but i do know the 1st movie of the reboot won't be the 3rd gghostbusters movie since that all ready in a froum of a video even if gb fans don't want to exapcet or however this spelled that fact.

As I understand it, Dan Ackroyd will be in this as Ray Stanz and they're negotiating with Bill Murray (don't hold your breath). So this apparently will be "Ghostbusters: The Next Generation".

Well in the IDW comic Janine, Kylie, and this FBI lady (name I forget) where ghostbusters at the time and also we had the Ghostsmashers which had 3 busty ladies in the group. (One got with Ray, yes Ray got a girl, so that could work)
