Is it just me or does Penny look a little more - - homely is too strong a word, but, well, not as cute as her other incarnations? And why is Gadget's coat so short?

The mock-ups here look pretty good but, wondering if these are just proto-types or the final versions? And I have to agree, Bill, she does look a bit more "toned down" on the cuteness angle. More of the "nerdy-girl-next-door-type", if you will.
