Lupin the 3rd: Live-Action Film
Lupin the Third is getting a live-action film. While Kotaku previously published an image of lead actor Shun Oguriin his Lupin costume, earlier today full cast photos were released...
...Via website Sanspo, here are Tadanobu Asano as Inspector Zenigata, Go Ayano as Goemon, Tetsuji Tamayama as Daisuke Jigen, and Meisa Kuroki as Fujiko. Compare the actors in costume with the characters' original illustrations...
...The Lupin the Third movie is slated to open on August 30 in Japan.

How does this make you feel?
Re: Lupin the 3rd: Live-Action Film
The actress playing Fujiko needs more padding in her bra.
But then, most women would.

Catwoman: Think you can handle me?
Batman: I've got handcuffs.

Really good casting- although I always felt a proper Lupin III movie should have had an international cast, honestly!

Love the casting. This is one movie that could honestly work in Hollywood if done properly. This looks pretty fun though!

Loving the look of this film. I agree with Suicide, this is actually one of the few animes that could actually be done by a Hollywood studio.
Re: Lupin the 3rd: Live-Action Film
Man the actors could almost be the characters themselves.

The first footage has just been released: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DtbUWo2PRR8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Sorry about the text, it was broadcast on a news channel. Certainly looks like a fun flick. Any thoughts?

This looks pretty good & I'm wondering if the studio is considering an English dubbed version, given Lupin's following here in the U.S. But then, I can live with sub-titles though I'd probably be too busy following the action
