I'm also re-introducing a 1940's heroine named "Rio Rita", who appeared in the Fight Comics, so you'll be seeing plenty of her perilous adventures in the future
As some of you know, I'm not into furries or the whole MLP craze but, as I tend to cover a lot of different genres on the DPL, I just couldn't resist finding a possible link to an MLP ancestor. The characters "Pinkie" and "Bucky" appeared in the back of the old "Punch & Judy" comics from the late 1940's (almost 40 years before MLP first made the scene) in the "Starry Eyes" stories
Starry Eyes was a wee lass that rode bare-back for a circus, that was always being plagued by an evil witch (how's that for a set-up?) Pinkie & Bucky were usually right there along with her in peril & danger. I don't have many stories from this series that involve DID, so I may just post the couple that I do have. At any rate, it'll be fun to see how anyone will make a comparison between to-day's MLP & Pinkie 
Mary Marvel returns Monday March 3rd 2014, in her usual posting spot. I'm marking her return with one of my favourite stories that I've recently restored (thanks to the generous person that uploaded a paper version of WOW Comics #51, to the DCM
), and have created all new detail panels 
But please note that mid-2014 may see me run out of Mary Marvel stories, at least the DID ones, as there were not as many as one would think. Though I have just about all of them in "e-book" form, some still need major upgrades from the old microfiche scans 
At some point I'll probably end up posting the "Black Mary" stories from the DC 52 set...Birds of Prey: I'm seriously thinking about posting all my BOP stories that involve DID (which is pretty extensive, if you've been reading either series...) My only real problem, is that my current scanner tends to blotch the high-gloss sheets & colours of the newer comics
I have most of the 1st series archived & they're not as bad, as they were scanned in years back with my old scanner *shrugs shoulders*At any rate, there'll be more than enough DID/DIP on the DPL this year, so stay tuned
And finally, I'll be launching my "Daphne Blake in peril" blog the beginning of April. The blog is still under construction and will feature my fan-art & stories that I've written, some of which I featured on my old DeviantART page. If you've been watching me over at DA, you'll know what I've been up to
