Old Arcade Game: Mystic Warriors
Okay I did some digging and I found this gem from an old Konami series: Mystic Warriors. Old school arcade game that never leaves Arcade since 1993.

This is a 4-player Arcade game where you take control of one to four of five ninjas: Spyros, Kojiro, Keima, Brad and Yuri (yes, the last one's a chick) against the massive Skull enterprise. The premise? At the beginning of the game, one of your allies gets kidnapped and you need to save him/her. If there are four players, the one not picked will get kidnapped. If there's less, then the game picks the unpicked at random for the victim of the playthrough, and in the opening scene, you see that victim (which, I repeat, can be ANYONE, so it's either GID or DID) being bound and gagged inside a helicopter as it goes away and you go for the rescue. At the end of the first stage, same bound-and-gagged-in-helicopter shot as you give further pursuit.
Unfortunately that's all the distress scenes are. But still pretty nifty. I can't believe it's just now I noticed this.

This is more like a shoot-em up like Contra, with some Shinobi elements put in, though.
Turns out Karyu once made a pic of Yuri. Anyone still has it? I'm not sure if he's replicating the game scenes or not... Curious.

Does anybody here has the old pic about this game made by Karyu? He said he used to make one, but since it's an old pic, he removed it. Anyone saved it before his purging?

Hope this doesn't violate anything.

I'd completely forgot about this scene; it is definitely an awesome scene to behold. Especially in higher definition; I never could tell whether she was gagged before but those HD vids clear up that confusion!
Great find!

@Snidely: It's just now I found out that this was actually an in-game scene instead of a made-up one. So yeah... that game went off my radar when Karyu should've had me notified. My bad.
