Hello all! It's nice to be back. My hearty thanks to you, Gambit and Suicide, for reviving Western Civ. The original board was fantastic, and I'm sure this one will be even better in time.

I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but it was a real kick-in-the-teeth to find that the old board had been suddenly deleted without notice. There was still so much great material there that I never got around to saving, which is now lost to the void. I think this makes about 6 or 7 boards I've been a member of over the years that have unexpectedly died, and most of them were killed off because someone who didn't like DiD got their panties in a bunch and ratted them out. For the life of me I can't understand why people who object to something can't just mind their own business and avoid it. But I guess some people just live to be vindictive and cause trouble for others. It's actually probably a miracle that the old WC board lasted as long as it did, considering how many of these types of people are out there on the internet. With Daikinbakuju's board getting killed not long ago, we probably should have seen it coming I guess.

Anyway, I hope that we only let true DiD fans stay this time, and all the rats are kicked out where they belong. :x I'd hate to see this board meet the same fate as the old one.

Its about time I showed up on here. I heard nothing but positive comments from my love, Rae, and was going to join a while a go but never came around o doing so. So go figure, when I had decided I was going to the previous version was taken down...None the less I am now here.

I feel as though it is my duty to inform everyone that I am willing to do art work for them(Although I'm rather horrible in my opinion) and that I am better with males than females, however I won't turn down doing females since I want/need the practice. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask and I'll answer them to the best of my abilities.
