October 2013: Webbed (sticky) damsels

this is a nice theme month idea, but it's a shame that it seems like no one really has any ideas for it since the month's half over already and it's only had this one post the whole time. or maybe no one's really into the webbing thing? most theme months seem to have fewer and fewer posts as is though... again a shame, but I guess you can't help it when there's a shortage of ideas or the mood to join in on it.

I think for some artists for some reasons is because for some reason drawing damsels trapped in cocoons is very hard for some.

I drew up an April O'Neil pic of her webbed but posted it on dA about a month ago; it's not THAT old so I theoretically could post it so if it hasn't been seen already...

After noticing the themed month threads I considered withdrawing it from dA just to shove it into this theme thread when it came up but figured it too drastic a measure.
I'm not very good at webbing but the cocoon effect came out decently at least.

I was more or less inspired by Suichiro's Yoko webbed pic in terms of the "cocooned, but with gaps" idea.
