...except it's being created by the creator of Megaman, himself, Keiji Inafune.

Seems he's tired of Capcom's shit, and is taking the reigns for a 'new' 'original' videogame.

Well truth be told Inafune left Capcom some time ago, but since Mega Man is Capcom's property he cannot jsut take that franchise with him.

I'd love to see Mighty No. 9 get developed. Looks like it would be awesome.

It already reached the goal easily. I bet the console versions will follow aswell. Strange that Capcom didn't develop a megaman game for the 3DS. Something like the Megaman X series just with a more modern look. But anyway this project looks very interesting.

Console goal got reduced by 300k--either way, we're getting this on consoles.
