Catwoman #19




I uploaded the first two scans but she spends practically the entire issue tied up in the straight jacket.

...kay, three questions.
a. what theh ell happened to catwoman taht she is going batshit? last i heard she was actually a sane, relatively, person..... let alone being so nuts she is sent to arhkam.
b. how the hell did martian man-hunter, arguably the most powerful justice league member considering the range of his abilities, need help to capture catwoman? he is around superman's strength class, and has psychic powers.
c. how the hell did catwoman manage to get such a hard hit against Kitana there? isn't she a skilled martial artist? i know catwoman can give a few hard hits to even batman, but not if she does such a large, obvious move as that. i mean look at that, she obviously did not even try to block her.
.....actually there is a fourth.
Why the fuck are three members of the jsutice league sent after catwoman? like i said, martian manhunter can handle catwoman himself. super strength, shapeshifting, psychic powers to numb her mind and make sure she can't fight back for a few hours. hell, how the fuck is he making the struggle face grabbing her? catwoman is a normal human! it would be like wonderwoman struggling to keep hold of the original killer moth!

still not as bad as some assape thinking bird bones equal brittle bones or no looking up how a character's weakness Actual Works.

1: Catwoman is a covert member of the JLA (as apposed to the JL, the JLA is a government team led by Steve Trevor) and thsi is an undercover mission

2: Again, he is on the JLA and this is a part of CW's undercover mission

3: Catwoman is a skilled martial artist. If she can trade blows with Batman (who is arguably one of the best MAs in the DCU) she should be able to go toe to toe with Katana. But again, Katana is on the JLA and the whole scene is staged.

...well it at least does clear up what is going on. not a bad plan to be honest, she does have a criminal history and all....

actually going easier is not gonna help catwoman's case here. if she is going under cover, they should ahve been a lot more rough with her. if someone with a bit more brain power is part of whatever she is investigating they might be able to see through it. hell if someone who is skilled in martial arts sees this they could easily tell if kitana was holding back or not, which she obviously is if she let herself take such a big, heavy blow as that without even attempting to defend herself.
heck someone might think that the fact she held off three jla members would probably tip the villains off. especially with old manhunter there. if martian manhunter came alone, it would show that the league wants her cpatured in a hurry, yet the difference in their abilities would make it that it would be harder to determine if they are holding back. cause manhunter would obviously hold back in order to not kill her.

In other news, anybody check out MOTU #1? Stunned this bit of stripping Teela did wasn't mentioned and she gets pinned in her underwear under some.debry after the Horde blows up her room. Dunni if she will get captured or killed by Hordak's general Despara or not later on. Will be keeping track and hoping for the capture.

I browsed through it but didn't notice the scene you mentioned. I usually look for tie up scenes and didn't see any.
