Seems the new episode of Brave and the Bold, Scorn of the Star Sapphire, that was supposed to air on Cartoon Network tonight at 6:30 Eastern has been postponed indefinitely. Although there might be something for Star who goes up against Bats and GL in the main story, the real potential excitement was set to come in the prologue with Bats and Wonder Woman going up against Baroness Von Gunther. And while probably nothing would have come of it, with this show's track record ya never know. And now, who knows when we'll find out. Cartoon Network, you suck!
In its place they're re-airing Mayhem of the Music Meister which has its own kick-a** scene of Batman and Black Canary doing their deathtrap number. But I've seen it before, I wanna see new stuff!
I'm still checking it out at 6:30 just in case CN gets their act together and does air Scorn of the Star Sapphire.

Yeah I noticed this today too.
Must have had a sexual innuendo the censors didn't care for like the Birds of Prey song. Still can't get that lovely scene to air here in the US.

It could have to do with the rights to the old TV show theme song being, ahem, tied up. (I know, I know, groan) Just came across this and it makes me want to see the episode even more now, grrrrrr...
Usually these prologues run about 20 seconds longer. Just enough time for Von Gunther to pull something...

Awesome! I am really liking her intro, but also the continuous sarcasm from Bruce. I was so wrong about this when it first came out.laura silverman wrote:It could have to do with the rights to the old TV show theme song being, ahem, tied up. Hey, here's the full length prologue for those who are interested!

Not much in the way of bondage (for you guys anyway ) but I gotta say, this prologue is INCREDIBLE! For my money, it's the best one I've seen the show do. It's amazing how much they were able to pack into just a little more than three minutes. And there are so many little details they just nail like Wondie's little speech about female solidarity, the expression on her face as she delivers the final punch to Gunther (Nazi armor!) and the sound effects of the rockets and tiara. And that score deserves its own special award!
All around WOW!
