Looks like they're borrowing a thing or two from Nolan's re-boot of Batman.
Where this goes from here, though...who knows?
Good Night and Good Luck..

Re: Spider-Man trailer
And we have the origin again.
I take it this will be more Ultimate Spidey than regular 616 Spidey but since I know little about the Ultimate comics line I can only guess what the changes will be (Pete's dad invented the web shooters...). I love Spidey, but I have to say this is the SH film coming out in 2012 I am least interested in, nothing against the film, with Dark Knight Rises, Man of Steel and Avengers it just has to take 4th place.

It seems pretty interesting, definitely different from Raimi's movies and that's actually a good thing. From what I learned about this, this film will be based more on the original Stan Lee/Steve Ditko run with elements of Ultimate Spider-Man. Truth be told, I'm actually more excited for this than I am for the other SH movies. Still, The Dark Knight Rises and The Avengers will be the superhero movies of 2012.
Re: Spider-Man trailer
It's always seemed a bit early for a reboot. And it still does. I don't get the point of doing an origin again as the first Rami movie isn't even a decade old.
That said the imagery here looks interesting and I actually do want to go see it.

well with news that Man of Steel is officially pushed back to June 2013 I can now say this is 3rd on my list to see in 2012 way to go Spidey!

I smell a lot of CG work... i feel like it will be another Green Lantern where they won't even try to hide the CG as much as possible.... also what's with the 3D thing... my eyes can't take it anymore!
