In this issue of Brave and the Bold ol’ Bat’s teams up with Zatanna to solve a mystery surrounding the death of a faith healer. Zatanna is friends with Angela Marcy who seems to be the next victim in mind for the mobsters that killed the first healer. While Zatanna does a heck of a job protecting her, the old crook Springer has the temple pumped with gas and lays them both unconcious. When they awaken Zatanna is bound gagged and helpless to use any magic! The only mar here is that Z is in her crappy black and red uniform and not her fishnets… but still… its a nice scene!

In the same storyline we get to see Zatanna’s Mother being punished and executed by the “Hidden Ones” and Zatanna is expected to take her mother’s place as posessor of the Medula Jewel. Sindella is chained and has a crown placed atop her head that will drain out her life force by days end. But Zatanna and the League have other plans!

There’s a magic cult trying to awake powerful demon! Zatanna has inlisted some help from her friends in the League to take them down! Good thing too as she gets captured by the evil demon and taken to another demension. Zee is in her blue uniform here. While its not her worst it certainly isn’t the fishnet magician outfit we all love!

The JLA is under attack in their own watchtower! Amazo has used Red Tornado’s new body for his own needs and now is running amok with the JLA’s powers! He starts by taking out each memeber using Zatanna’s powers against her to remove her mouth. But he didn’t know she could cast spells by writing too! But Z isn’t free for long as he channels a Green Lantern gag to keep her quiet and out of the fight!

Though there is no actual restraint or gags in this scene I think it’s worth throwing up here do to the obvious distress and the absolute hotness of her fishnet magician outfit just not getting enough show time! Plus she does get KO’d!
