In this satirical comic strip done for the Johnny Carson Show Jack Kirby depicts the late night host as a super villain known as “Fiesty John” and his sidekick “Sweet Ed” (Ed McMahon). They have kidnapped a poor woman named Virginia. The magazine admits to not knowing the true identity of the woman and speculate that it could be Ed’s wife. Who ever she is she looks fantastic as a hostage in that sinister Green Room.
